The happy day this month is Tuesday January 24th at noon o'clock. Angie and Scarlett will be making sure you have a nice Quiznos Box Lunch waiting for you in the break-room. Your simple task to complete before Friday, January 20th, is to select a sand'ich, a chip pref, and a stinkin' cookie. Drinks will be provided in little white cups on the day of the luncheon. You will find the forms for ordering your lunch in the break room. You can hand the form to Angie or you can email Angie. You cannot fax Angie or text Angie or even call Angie. If you insist upon an alternative method, you do so only at the risk of your own food. Its not worth it! Angie has spoken her peace and counted to 3!Now . . . upon completion of your order form, you need only to relax and wait for the first luncheon of 2012 to begin. However, you do have the option of donning denim during the whole of the festive function. Conversely, if you are a dumb-dumb and forget to wear your denim than you can anticipate a barrage of taunts directed at you in order to rob you of your dignity and decorum while simultaneously sending you into a tailspin that will begin with shrieks for mama and end with you in the fetal position in the corner of the office sucking your thumb. Now . . . that may seem extreme, but I've seen it. I won't mention any names - but it rhymes with ephen and starts with St). At any rate, its not a pretty sight. Don't forget your jeans.
With those happiest of happy thoughts - lets all look forward to a great Luncheon and a great 2012.
I don't like Ben's blog posts. I miss the other guy that did them.
ReplyDeletePolice car?
ReplyDeleteHow would a gal who didn't work in the office place her order - you know since I'm not suppose to be calling it in and all!
ReplyDeleteAngie said she would have some Hot Pockets ready for you.
DeleteSooo... this loquacious blog post is only covering for the fact that the luncheon is now on a Tuesday... prob because of something that rhymes with "ondo" and starts with "m" ;)
ReplyDeleteOh - how right you are, Erin! You are quite astute, unlike Mathew who doesn't recognize that the police car very obviously contains "Sandwich Police" on the side. Sheeesh!
ReplyDeleteMy microscope was unavailable when I read the post for the first time.
