Chicago vs. New York

There are plenty of cities that have rivalries, for example Ann Arbor Michigan and Columbus Ohio, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, London and Paris, or Boston and Boston. However there is one rivalry that concerns our next company luncheon. New York vs. Chicago.

At the heart of this rivalry is the most famous of pies from Naples Italy; The pizza pie. Chicago style or New York style? Which is best? This is a question that has plagued philosophers, gurus, and scientists for decades.  Having been to both cities and tasted some of the finest offerings of both, I have to say the clear winner here is Pizza.  That's right I can't make that call between the hearty deliciousness of Chicago deep dish or the fold-able goodness of a New York slice.

Since we've tried the Chicago Connection in the past. This months luncheon will be catered by New York Richie's. And will be held at noon on Nov. 21st. Be there in your jeans if you'd like and to have your taste-buds witness some, as they say in New England, wicked good pie.

While I may not be able to decide on which city has the best pie, I can let you decide which has the better sports teams:

Basketball: Bulls v. Nicks
Baseball: White Sox v. Mets v.Yankees v. Cubs
Football: Giants v. Bears v. Jets
Hockey: Rangers v. Blackhawks
Soccer: Heat v. Red Bulls

  4. Basketball always has, always will be Phoenix Suns! And Steve Nash! P.S. I loathe the Lakers and I could care less about the Bulls or the Nicks :)

    1. I cried when the Lakers took Nash. Best team player since Michael Jordan.

    2. Me too Ty. I went into a state of depression when we lost Nash. I'm not sure I've fully recovered from that travesty:)

    3. What matters is that Nash went happily, right? His immediate Hollywood haircut said it all.
