Somebody That I Used To Know

There are times when people feel that it is best to move on. Such is the case on this day. Brandon Peterson and Seth Radford have both decided to leave their current situations to try their hand at something new. Brandon is leaving the ID warehouse and Seth is leaving HR.

Seth got to know each of you rather intimately as he toiled with your time clocks on a daily basis. He also helped with HR questions, wrote blog posts, and provided luncheons.  And he is leaving you - just like that! No last thoughts, no last words, its just over.  Now . . . He is just somebody that we used to know.

And now he's gonna cut you off.
Make it seem like it never happened and that you were nothing.
And you don't even need his help.
He'll just treat you like a stranger and it feels so rough.
He didn't need to stoop so low! (Programming?)
I just collected all your records, packets, and your insurance.
I guess he won't need them though
Now he's just somebody that we used to know!

For those of you unacquainted with the quirky song by Gotye - this was an awful attempt to change the lyrics  of the song to fit this situation. I apologize for the butchered attempt.

Seth Radford really is moving into programming and so will no longer be your go to guy with time card and HR questions.  PLEASE NOTE: All time card adjustments should be sent to Naomi Rogers at naomi@conpak.net. All other payroll and insurance questions come to me. I am sorry to say you will have to deal with me again - what a drag for all us. Seth will continue to run our Wii tournaments and so he won't be completely cut off like Duane and Jennifer. He will also continue downloading books onto iPods for anyone interested in that. Good luck in programming Seth!

Brandon Peterson (Pete) is moving into the Accounting Division starting next week. I would sing another version of the song from the ID warehouse perspective but I fear I might get lambasted for too lengthy of a post. Pete will be working mostly in the AP portion of accounting, but he will find other areas to dabble in as well. Have fun Brandon and we hope you will be accountable in your new position. (Get it - accountable? Accounting? Ha!)

. . . Somebody . . . that I used to know . . . Somebody . . .that I used to know.

  2. You know Ben it's not you, it's me. Trust me this hurts me a lot more than it hurts you. Maybe we can be friends?
