Front room remodel

We're bursting at the seams again ... which means that it's time to do a small remodel. We'll be redoing the front room to make better use of the space. We'll be removing our existing cubicles and replacing them with refurbished cubicles, putting down some carpet, and creating a small walk-in sitting area. The north wall of cubicle A will be a floor-to-ceiling wall that becomes a half-wall-with-counter-top on the west side.

There will be a tall panel wall between cubicle A and B's shared desk. We'll tear out the front desk and replace it with cubicles F and E. All gray areas will be carpeted. White areas and high traffic areas will be existing linoleum.

Assuming that the planets, suns, and stars align, and that we all have positive foretelling in all of our horoscopes, and that the entire cosmos smile sweetly down upon us, we hope to install carpet on Saturday, February 12, and cubicles on Monday February 15 (while we're closed for President's Day).

The goal here is to disrupt our work as little as possible. In order to achieve this laughable but hopeful schedule, there will, however, be minor disruptions as we build new walls and patch/paint existing walls to prepare for this event. Please be understanding and patient as these changes are made.

Please note, this remodel is a necessity. We are adding personnel and we are running out of space. We have NOT forgotten about the restrooms. At this point, all we can say is that we are planning to work on the restroom situation when we are out of debt. (Which is something that we get closer and closer to every day).

  1. I think that it's too small a space for a dark color...

  2. I agree with such a dark color for a small poorly lit space. So how about adding a window?

  3. How about we add central heating and air to the warehouse while were at it all.
