What am I saying, of course you would! Laurence Tureaud (aka Mr. T) has given us some true life principals that we can incorporate into our lives. On top of being a great actor, he's also a motivational speaker, wrestler, bodyguard, army soldier, bouncer, and White House Santa Claus (I'm serious about that last one, you can ask Nancy Reagan about it.) and gave us such phrases as:
- "First name Mr, middle name 'period', last name T!"
- "I Pity the Fool!"
- "Shut up, Fool!"
- "I don't hate fools, I pity them!"
- "Quit yo Jibber-jabber! You ain't hurt, yo pathetic!, Argh! If I ever catch you acting like a crazy fool again, you're gonna meet my friend pain! Snickers, get some nuts!"
- "Well, maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! Maybe, Mr. T's pretty handy with computers! Had that occurred to you, Mr. "Condescending" Director?!"
We can all find lessons within each of these quotes that will enhance our lives. I think the lessons that apply in particular to the next round of our Wii tournament are to:
1. Always use exclamation points!
2. Use the word fool to describe opponents more often
3. Dispense pity to said fools
That said here are the racers competing in the semi-finals of our tournament:
Stephen Post, who showed no mercy on his last opponent, will face off against the cool and competent Matt Lamm.
Then we have Sean Lamm, skillfully and silently staring down James Hammond, who's known for taunting his victims before the finish line.

I believe in the Golden Rule - The Man with the Gold... Rules.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, he has so many good ones. my other favorites are:
Delete"You a disgrace to the man race!"
"Do it again sucker, and there's going to be trouble!"
"It's time to get in da pool, 'cause you're goin' swimmin', fool!"
I was reading about his life and he said that his father was called boy and his brother was called boy...every man in his life was called boy and so he felt to be respected he would put a Mr. in front of his name so that he would get the respect he deserved. He was breaking the cycle from being "boy."
DeleteStephen,
ReplyDeleteI demand a rematch!
