It's a Boy!!

For years Jeff McCauley has secretly teared up when summer time rolled around and all of the other Dad's had the opportunity of taking their boys out to Father and Son camp-outs. Also, their grand tales of adventure while exploring with the Boy Scouts left him particularly despondent. Although Jeff is undoubtedly elated with his wonderful daughters, his brief moments of "I'm the only boy in the house" depression may now come to a close.

CPS is happy to announce that Jeff and Trisha McCauley are now the proud parents of not only three wonderful children, but four! They now have a handsome baby boy! Carter McCauley was born Tuesday June 4th at 1:38 PM weighing in at 6 lbs 10 oz and stretching out to a grand 20 inches long. We are pleased that both Trisha and Carter are healthy, happy and doing well. What a wonderful occasion for their family and we wish them the very best.

P.S.     Though Jeff may enjoy Barbies more than Hot Wheels, thanks to Carter, he now has the opportunity to play with both!

  5. This is great news. Now Jeff can stop coming by my desk and sighing 'I wish you were my son'. It was starting to creep me out a bit.

  6. Hey I know nothing about Girls, as I have none. However I know boys; They just sit quietly on the floor reading books they never cause disturbances. They never: bury our cat, use my ties as pulleys, or my shoes to clean out the chicken coop, I don't remember ever sitting at the dinner table and hear a sound and smell a smell and laughing our heads off, much to the dismay of my wife. All I can say is button down the hatches and get more insurance one everything you own especially your car, the ever-storm comes. Your life will change drastically for the better! Congrats to the whole family! How exciting!

  18. Thank you all (well, most of you) for your kind comments. I will confess that our home is predominantly pink. However, my wife did buy the Fisher Price Castle and Pirate set at a garage sale a few years ago, and I have convinced my daughters that storming a castle and making pirates walk the plank is just as fun as tea parties.

Here's to shooting everything in sight, blowing up stuff and lighting the world on fire! We're gonna have a lot of fun with Carter.
