Halloween is upon us and CPS will celebrate in style on Wednesday, October 31st with a costume contest. Everyone is invited to come to work in costume. For those who are creatively challenged, jeans are acceptable as well.
You're free to dress up as your favorite ghost, goblin, witch or questionable public figure as long as the costume follows dress code standards. Costumes should not be revealing or derogatory, not to mention inappropriate or dangerous for specific working conditions (Amber might want to avoid wearing her Rapunzel costume ... especially whilst operating the forklift).
If you wish to enter the costume contest (Everyone should, who doesn't want to be named the scariest looking person at CPS?) you will need to send a photo of yourself (in costume of course) to keith@conpak.net by 10AM MT (that's noon for you KY! And 10 in the morning for Utah. We're in the same time zone, just in case you didn't know. Time can be confusing, anyway...). The submission deadline is strict because from 12-1PM MT a poll will be open on the dashboard that will allow everyone to scroll through all the frightening photos and vote for your favorite. The winner who will receive a $25 gift card of their choice will be announced at 2PM MT.
To recap:
- Wear an appropriate costume or jeans on Wednesday, October 31st
- Send a picture to keith@conpak.net by 10AM MT (ID people - see me if you need a photo taken)
- Vote for your favorite costume from 12-1PM MT
- Visit the dashboard to see if you won at 2 PM MT
Monday, October 31st? Is that this year? was there a shift in the space-time continuum that has transported us back to 2011 (or forward to 2017) Last I checked Wednesday was October 31st. in 2012
ReplyDeleteWow the new guy thinks he can talk smack or correct senior management after just a couple of weeks of working here. That is confidence.
DeleteOh, the new boy's got a bit of a sharp side. You go Spidie!
DeleteI don't know what you're talking about. It says "Wednesday!" (Of course, I just changed it) ...
DeleteThe correct date is Febtober 31st.
ReplyDeleteHey Keith I was wondering if you meant Wednesday, and not Monday. I don't want to sound bossy or talk smack, or be Sharp sided, like other people. I just want to make you aware of your understandable and excusable mistake. Do you need any assistance fixing that miniscule oversight?
ReplyDeletethanks
