"Mawage, that bwessed awangement, that dweem wifin a dweem. And wuv, twu wuv, will fowow you fowevow. So tweasure your wuv." - Princess Bride, The Funky Old Priest.Twuly that is a vewy inspiwational quote!
I contempwated sticking with dis schtick for the entire bwog post, but I just can't keep going . . . what a great movie though. However, lets move on to the blessed arrangement that happened right here with one of our own at CPS. Brandon Berreth was married last week to his beautiful bride, Emily. We wish both Brandon and Emily the very best in their union. Congrats - may happy times be with you always.
It is events like this that always remind me of my own wedding . . . except for some reason, Emily looks much happier than Kristi ever did. I wonder why that is . . .
With twins, everything comes in two's at our house! Haha... So happy for them!
ReplyDeleteWow, congratulations! We are so excited for you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Brandon and Emily! May you enjoy a long and happy marriage!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a beautiful couple!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Brandon and Emily! Julie B your head is going to be spinning from all these wedding bells you are hearing. :)
ReplyDeleteLorna.. I'm sorry, did you say something? I can't hear anything with this constant ringing I've developed in my ears :)
ReplyDeleteI have been given some very disturbing information. Brandon Berreth has never seen "The Princess Bride". Julie - what kind of mother raises a child in this crazy world without that movie to help you thru? I am deeply shocked by this major omission from Brandon's life. Brandon - it is not too late - find the time to watch a classic flick. Late.
ReplyDeleteWhat!!? This can't be... with two sisters in the house he surely has seen this! Oh, no what will we do... Watch some DALLAS COWBOYS FOOTBALL!
ReplyDeleteBen, a little bird told me something else about your childhood. Along with your Princess Bride movie collection you also played with Barbies as a young boy. It will be ok though I've got you covered on this one. It just so happens that my mom collects Barbies so just hand those over to her and no one will know.
ReplyDeleteShoot Player - I just got served!
ReplyDeleteBut seriously - are you kidding? The Princess Bride has "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles..."
Does this sound like Barbies to you? This kind of talk just makes me blue.
"Certainly you don't mean any harm. You're just very very short on charm!"
"No more rhymes now, I mean it . . . Anybody want a peanut?"
Classic!
