Another luncheon committee era is drawing to a close. We've had quite a journey with Angie as the committee chairperson, full of bad times and somewhat bearable times. At this point it would have been cool to have a video montage of all the luncheons we've had since Angie became chairperson. But then again, it would just be a bunch of pictures of people eating at the same table or Angie cussing at the cameraman to stop taking pictures and help set up. Actually, Angie has done a great job as the luncheon chairperson and we are very excited for our next luncheon on Wednesday, July 20th. Our July birthdays include Matt Campbell, Bob Richards, Jeff Rinker, Ben McCallister, Sandy Young, and Mike Corondao.Angie is serving foot long sandwiches made by Uncle Giuseppe's. Don't worry, Angie doesn't have an uncle named Giuseppe that will be making your sandwich, it is an actual deli. There are menus in the break room that display all of the different styles of sandwiches that you can choose from. Please email your order to Angie (angie.h@conpak.net) by the end of Monday the 18th so that we can get our order into the deli early. There will also be chips, salsa, and pickles provided by Laura and a TBD dessert provided by Tracie. And don't forget, luncheon day is also Jean Bomb day (you're welcome, Erin). You are allowed to wear jeans, so don't forget.
We are looking for a new luncheon committee chairperson to take over for Angie beginning in September. It is a very exciting job because you get to plan the luncheons for the next six months. You also get to choose your very own committee members. PLUS, you get a bonus of $25 for each luncheon and the committee members receive $15. it is a win, win, win situation. If you are interested, and I know you are, just send an email to Stephen (stephen@conpak.net) before the company barbeque on August 15th and your name will be put into the drawing. Make sure to thank Angie for all the great luncheons that she has planned. On the count of three everybody say, "Thanks Angie"!
Thanks Angie!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the yummy food, Angie! Especially last month's...the Hawaiian food, omg. :)
ReplyDeleteAngie Bomb! Thank you! I'll be having a vacay bomb on Wed...so someone please eat for me...if you're up to the challenge.
ReplyDeleteAs anyone else just glad we had a new memo? I was getting really tired of seeing the same memo's everyday.
ReplyDeleteBy the way - thanks Angie. You did swell!!! Much better than I thought you would, as a matter of fact. We didn't have any fish eggs or humice. Thanks for that.
Thank you Angie! Desert will be a surprise...since I have no idea what I am doing as of yet. BUT I promise it will be yummy!!
ReplyDeleteAngie, you definitely mastered the art of dropping luncheon bombs. Thanks for your service.
ReplyDelete"I'm honored to share a birthday month with such a prestigious crowd."
ReplyDelete-Kung Pao Corondao
Well done Corondao. Well done.
ReplyDeleteTracie - If you are having trouble coming up with a dessert, I would suggest green ice cream with Nilla Wafers. You can call Kenyon for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteI think Ben is confusing pumice (like the stone) with HUMMUS* YUM!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome lunch Angie. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for lunch!! =)
