Credit Management Process Revisions

Effective immediately, there will be a few changes to our credit management process. Please discuss all changes to new and existing customer credit accounts with Tyler. These points include, but are not limited to: (1) approving/declining a customer for terms, (2) increasing/decreasing a customer's credit limit, (3) offering a payment plan for delinquent accounts, (4) sending a customer account to collections, (5) putting a customer's account on/off hold (please note customer accounts that are 60 days past due are automatically put on hold), (6) approving/declining any customer request regarding their terms with CPS. All credit applications should still be submitted to Brenda for processing and reference checks. In the event that Tyler is not available to answer questions, comments, and concerns regarding a change to a customer account, please contact Ben, then Bob, then Jana. Because the number of credit requests we receive are very large, we anticipate that these changes will allow Brenda to devote additional effort on gathering the required information so that we can make credit decisions as quickly and accurately as possible.

We express our appreciation to Brenda who has provided many years of service in processing applications and extending credit to our customers. With her continued efforts in the credit department and the new processes we have put in place, we should be able to deliver an excellent customer experience to those who are seeking credit.
