As the company grows, there are changes that are made to various aspects of the company. Also, it is always good to get a re-fresh course on past policies and procedures. Since this memo involves both, we will call it a “New-Fresh”. We will now unveil the newest (and freshest) IT Procedures.
On occasion, you might experience a problem with your technical equipment. Your phone might be acting weird, your printer is printing in a different language intermixed with bizarre symbols, or maybe your email isn’t connecting to the server. These are all IT related problems. When you are having one of these issues, the first person to contact is Sean Lamm in the IT Division. The best way to contact Sean is either by phone or email. If Sean is not available, then you should contact Matt Lamm about the problem. This should be adhered to when the issue is urgent.
Over the years, employees have provided some great ideas for both the website and for SAM. These ideas and requests are appreciated and encouraged. If you have an idea or a request that you would like to make, please discuss it first with your Director. Your Director can provide you feedback on the idea and then send an email to the IT Division detailing the request. Please note that the IT Division receives a lot of requests and has a lot of open projects that they are currently working on so it might be a while before specific requests are addressed.
Sometimes, there are issues that can affect the entire company. These issues include no internet, phones are out of service, online orders are not being placed, etc… When these types of issues occur, the IT Division will notify each Director of the problem and of a potential time when this problem is solved. There will be updates provided throughout the duration of the issue to the Directors and the Directors will pass along this information to their Division.
Hopefully this post was as new and as fresh as everyone was hoping for. May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out.
You offer it to me freely? I do not deny that my heart has greatly desired this.
